Sheena brings a deep passion for healing and over a decade of experience in healthcare to her work as a therapist. Before becoming a mental health professional, she spent many years as a registered nurse in both hospital and clinic settings. It was through this work—sitting with patients during their most vulnerable moments—that she came to recognize how deeply our mental and physical health are connected. Sheena returned to school to earn her master’s degree in social work and now specializes in working with adolescent girls struggling with anxiety, OCD, and related challenges. She is trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT), two evidence-based approaches that support lasting change in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders. At Cascade Academy, Sheena blends her medical knowledge with therapeutic skills to help teen girls build confidence, develop resilience, and reconnect with their intuition. Her approach is holistic, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that healing is possible when we address the mind and body together. When Sheena is not at work, you will find her on the trails: running with her dogs, biking with her husband and college kids, and backpacking with her friends.
