Michelle Kohler, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who brings nearly a decade of clinical experience working with youth and families. Michelle earned her Master of Social Work from the Smith College School for Social Work and has worked across a range of settings, including schools, outpatient programs, and group private practices. Her diverse professional background, combined with her experience living and working in multiple states, has given her a deep understanding of the developmental, cultural, and environmental factors that shape each adolescent’s experience. Michelle brings meaningful experience supporting adolescents with anxiety and has developed particular clinical strength in working with adolescent boys. She has a thoughtful and engaging approach that helps young people connect to the therapeutic process in ways that feel accessible, relevant, and effective. Her therapeutic style is eclectic, flexible, and highly relational. Michelle integrates movement, play, and experiential techniques to create a space that feels both safe and engaging. She is deeply committed to meeting clients where they are, working collaboratively to identify patterns, understand triggers, and build practical strategies that empower young people to move forward with confidence and achieve lasting change. Outside of her clinical work, Michelle is a dedicated parent of three and enjoys staying active and connected to the outdoors. She can often be found running, hiking, Irish step dancing, or spending time with her German Shepherd. Hockey is a central part of her family life, and she enjoys traveling whenever the opportunity arises.
