Kennedy Fry, raised in Utah, holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in photography. Guided by mentors and a passion for community engagement, she is dedicated to supporting vulnerable populations through direct service and trauma-informed care. Her recent research has explored topics such as the ecological and human impacts of public lands, adoption complexities, student nutrition access, and support for unhoused communities. Sharing these insights with lawmakers and at conferences has strengthened her commitment to advocacy and evidence-based practice. Outside of work, Kennedy enjoys backpacking, hiking, skiing, gardening, and spending time outdoors with her dogs and friends. She believes every person deserves to feel seen, safe, and empowered, and she loves helping students at Cascade Academy discover their strengths and build resilience.
