Jacob serves as the Science Teacher at Cascade Lodge, where he brings curiosity and hands-on learning to every classroom experience. A graduate of Utah State University with a degree in Geology, Jacob has contributed to academic research alongside graduate students and spent several years working with teenage boys in therapeutic settings.

He began his journey at Cascade Lodge as a mentor, later transitioning into education and earning his Associate Educator License. Jacob is passionate about making science come alive through interactive projects and outdoor field experiences, helping students connect what they learn to the world around them.

Outside of the classroom, Jacob enjoys outdoor recreation, movies, board games, hiking, and exploring nature. Looking ahead, he hopes to one day create his own outdoor adventure and therapeutic recreation program, combining his love for the outdoors with his dedication to helping young people grow.
