Gesse teaches math and science at Cascade Academy. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry, Physics, and Chemical Engineering, having studied at both Brigham Young University (Chemical Engineering) and the University of Utah (Chemistry and Physics). He also holds a Utah Associate Educator License (Secondary) with endorsements in mathematics, physics, and chemistry.

Gesse works hard to customize and personalize education for each student. He loves helping students explore subjects at a deeper and more complex level than what is typically offered in a traditional school setting. His approach emphasizes meaningful understanding, real-world application, and building lasting academic confidence.

One of Gesse’s primary goals is to ensure students feel confident in their knowledge of math and science so they can seamlessly transition back to their academic environments at home. He specializes in preparing students for the SAT and ACT, helping them strengthen foundational skills while mastering test-taking strategies.

Gesse is passionate about teaching and finds his greatest reward in watching students transform—from feeling unsure about math and science to genuinely enjoying these subjects and gaining confidence in their abilities.
