Amy Lee

ACMHC
Clinical Staff

Amy Lee specializes in working with adolescents struggling with anxiety, OCD, emotional distress, and identity development. She is passionate about helping teens build more meaningful and connected lives through evidence-based treatment, mindfulness, and compassionate therapeutic relationships.

Amy incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) into her work with students. Her approach is strengths-based, person-centered, and grounded in the belief that each individual’s experiences, relationships, and environment shape the healing process. She especially enjoys helping teens develop psychological flexibility, resilience, and practical tools for navigating difficult emotions and intrusive thoughts.

Prior to joining the team, Amy worked in residential treatment with adolescents, university counseling, and nonprofit organizations serving adolescent mothers and survivors of sexual violence. Her broader community involvement has included volunteer work supporting refugee resettlement efforts in Salt Lake City and participation with various local nonprofit organizations.

Amy received her B.A. in English from Brigham Young University and her M.Ed. in Counseling from University of Utah.

Clients working with Amy will find her enthusiastic, thoughtful, and deeply curious about the human experience. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering, participating in the local performing arts community, spending time with her two children in the Heber Valley, and occasionally practicing handstands.
