Alissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Utah and a Master of Social Work with a specialization in mental health from The Ohio State University. Over the past two years, she has dedicated her practice to supporting adolescents and families, bringing a deeply personalized and compassionate approach to every client she serves.

Alissa has also found a true calling in working with neurodiverse adolescents, a population she connects with in a truly meaningful way. Her natural ability to build trust and meet young people where they are has made her an invaluable presence in the lives of the individuals and families she works with.

Alissa believes that genuine rapport and trust are the foundation for meaningful change. Her approach is gentle but appropriately challenging, helping clients move toward greater self-awareness, honesty, and accountability. She has a strong interest in systems work and values involving families in the therapeutic process to support lasting growth both in and outside of treatment.

Alissa is certified in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and uses an integrative approach, incorporating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Inference Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT, DBT) to meet each adolescent’s unique needs.
