What Families Notice

How Co-Occurring Disorders Affect Daily Life

  • Day to day

Students may experience difficulty managing emotions, maintaining focus, or navigating social situations.

  • At school

Co-occurring conditions can contribute to avoidance, heightened stress responses, or challenges in school performance.

  • At home

Families often notice patterns of overwhelm, withdrawal, or frustration that can be hard to understand without professional support.

  • Why it matters

Addressing these interconnected symptoms is essential for long-term stability, resilience, and overall wellbeing.

Proven Clinical Models

Building Strength One Step at a Time

Four Core Modalities

Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities for OCD & Anxiety Disorders

Evidence-based therapies building resilience and emotional flexibility in a supportive environment.

ERP

Exposure Response Prevention

Students practice facing the thoughts and situations that set off their anxiety while resisting the rituals that usually follow, until the body learns the fear passes on its own.

I-CBT

Inference-Based Cognitive Behavior Therapy

This approach works on the reasoning behind an obsession. She learns to notice the moment imagination starts to feel like evidence, and to trust what she can actually observe.

ACT

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

She learns to make room for hard thoughts and feelings and to keep moving toward what she values while they are present.

RO-DBT

Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy

For students whose coping style runs toward rigid self-control. They practice flexibility, openness, and the social signals that make close relationships possible.
